Abstract
Making lecture schedules is a complicated matter because it involves many parties and resources. There are several aspects that must be considered in making the lecture schedule, such as: at one time a lecturer may only teach in 1 class, students may not be scheduled to study in 2 different subjects at the same time, the availability of teaching time for non-permanent lecturers, limitations room, and the weight of teaching time based on the credit. In order to arrange the schedule optimally, a method is needed that can produce the best optimization value. In this paper, we will discuss the comparison of Genetic Algorithms and Particle Swarm Optimization to design lecture schedules. The results showed that in the 25th iteration the Genetic algorithm succeeded in compiling a lecture schedule with the best fitness value of 0.021 and 9.36 second execution time compared to the PSO algorithm which produced a fitness value of 0.099 and execution time of 61.95 seconds in the same iteration.

Department of Informatic Engineering, Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Garut, Jl. Mayor Syamsu No. 1, Garut 44151, Indonesia
Abstract
Database design can be done using a relational approach. In this type of relational database, there is a clear description of the relationship between a table and another table that can do; this relationship described as a solid line that connects one field name to one table, with one name field in the other table. This situation will produce an integrated and accurate database design.
Managing student data manually, for various information needs on different management lines both horizontally and vertically, will cause several problems. These problems are related to accuracy and response time. It is because each identified file is independent so that when a search for records or data is made difficult and the data accuracy not maintained because of data redundancy. Based on the conditions above, in this study, a database of student data management will be conducted using the relational approach.
From the resulting menu system and the interface shown, concluded that the database design of student data management using the relational approach has been able to accommodate data and information needs relevant to business processes that occur within the student data management system.

Abstract
Theoretically, the process of improving organizational performance can be accelerated by information technology (IT). This paper aims to discuss a sharpened concept for improving the performance of an organization. Researchers use different perspectives in formulating the relationships of variables based on the levels of significances towards the value-added creations. These variables include the model and strategy of business, and innovation and deployment of technology. Since the organizational capability parameters change dynamically driven by the rapid of advancing technology, hence the previous paradigms regarding the mapping of variables to organizational performance need to be sharpened. In this paper, we expand presumption for analyzing that other variables such as competitive environment, competitive strategy, and competitive factors influence organizational performance. This study is conducted using an in-depth comparative investigation of existing literature involving some discussion of both Strategic Management of Information Technology (SMIT) framework and model as a piece of literature review in research work. Overall, this initiative is resulting in a proposed formulation of the business model, technological innovation, and strategic alignment as a conceptual framework of SMIT for organizational performance improvement.

Abstract
Although franchise considered as a business system that has many features, that does not mean this business concept does not have weaknesses. Indeed, its been hundreds of years the format of this business is running. Even today the franchise business is getting its place as a proven business format and successfully delivering thousands of business brands across various continents and times. If the franchisor is less selective in choosing a franchisee, they may damage the franchisors image and business brand as a whole. The reason is if one franchisee does not comply with the operational standards provided by the franchisor then results in customer disappointment, it is not impossible that this customer will perceive all other outlets as bad. Using an innovation assimilation strategy framework, this paper describes how franchise organization used its implementation of a Smart Dashboard System to improve performance, allows franchisors to keep a handle on their franchise accounts and put it on a path towards digital leadership.

Abstract
This study explained how to combine the technology readiness and success model of information systems (IS) in the context of exploring the factors that influence the readiness and success of IS implementation performance. As explained by many studies of IS, that most IS research models are developed by adopting, combining, and adapting previous studies. The researchers developed this model based on the input-process-output logic and processional and causal models of the IS success model. The developed model was structured in twelve variables and 42 indicators. The path influences between variables were presented by 28 links. Researchers broke down the model to the level of the assessment instrument in relation to the implementation of the research. However, the model development study may have limited in the used assumptions and understanding of the researchers, the study may contribute theoretically in terms of new model propositions. In addition, the development of the proposed model and the instrument for data collection may be a practical consideration point for further study.
